Goodbyes

Earlier this year, we said goodbye to our friends, the Murrays.  They are a great family, and we were sad to see them move away to Colorado, but excited for them and their new adventures.

Not too long afterward, Becky and her family moved away to Colorado, also.  What's Colorado got that Texas doesn't?!

Maryn was pretty sad to say goodbye to her sweet friend, Alison.

 These two were good buddies, and it was hard to let her go.

Thank goodness for texting so these two can keep in touch!

The Flour Game

One night, for Family Home Evening, I decided I needed to introduce the girls to one of my favorite childhood games--The Flour Game.

Friends That Swim Together

2015 was a fun swim team year.  It's the first year all three girls got to be on the team together.

Cora took her sweet time making down the lane.  It was fun to watch her and cheer her on.

Ailee worked really hard this year, and had good form.

Swim Team is always a great way to help us pass the summer.  I'm so glad we've been able to do it for the last 3 years.

Here's To 7 Years!

This sweet girl turned 7 this week.  I can't believe how quickly these last seven years have flown by! It seems like just yesterday she was a tiny little baby in my arms.

As per tradition, she got lots and lots of presents.

And people to celebrate with her.

Ice cream cake is always a good idea, too.

                

Mary came up with the sweetest gift, and played "Happy Birthday" on the recorder.  

And then it was time to open presents!

Ailee requested a mommy-daughter date, so we went to the salon to get our nails done.

We love our little Ailee Bug so much.  Her heart is big, and as beautiful as she is.  We are so grateful that she is part of our family!

Workouts

Since the girls have swim team every morning, I get to chase little little guy around the pool for about an hour every morning.  He loves to get dangerously close to the edge of the pool, and run through the slippery shower area.  

Sometimes he'll stop to let me take a quick picture.

Who needs a gym membership when you have a 1 year old to chase around?
