After some time with the Roundy side of things, I got to go up and spend a few weeks with the Coreys. Kade had to fly home so he could work (someone had to fund this vacation!)
I'd like to personally thank the creators of Photoshop. This picture would not be possible without them:
All of us got together at a cabin on Bear Lake. It was lots of fun. Plenty to do for all, and lots of room to spread out and have some fun together.
Prepare to be inundated with a bazillion pictures of us at the beach:
Some ferocious games of baseball happened:
As well as frisbee:
Mike pulled out the boat:
Babies ate lots of sand and drank dirty water….
…and were pretty happy about it.
Kids dug holes and made little sand villages:
Adults sat around and visited:
There were lots of smiles all around:
It was nice just to be TOGETHER:
Of course, we had to take some family pictures. Here are Grandma and Grandpa with all the Grandkids (Minus the two oldest who were off doing "busy" college stuff)
The Originators of this chaos:
Ryan and his family: (Seriously, I got tired of editing photos at this point. It was a simple assignment--white shirts, people!)
Now that's family lovin'!
Marybeth and family:
Jenni and her family:
Jill and her family:
Just a cute one of Jill and Savannah
Mom and Dad aka: Grandma and Grandpa
Erica and her family:
Me 'n my kiddos:
I captured a few cute moments of my kids
It was so nice to spend those relaxing few days at the cabin with everyone. I decided to drive up to IF to spend some more time with those who remained behind.
Grandma, of course, did her traditional Grandma Campout with the little ones:
My vacation came to a close with my dad having double bypass surgery, and my sweet little niece being diagnosed with cancer.
I was so glad I was able to stay a little longer. Thankfully, Dad has recovered well from his surgery. Little Laynie had her tumor removed and is currently undergoing rounds of chemotherapy. Her cancer is rare, so they are treating it aggressively. My sister reports that she has been brave and still keeps her sweet smile through it all. She has the prayers of many on her side.
